Pharmacy Chain 36.6 to enter Omsk

MARCH 2, 2006, MOSCOW – OAO Pharmacy Chain 36.6 [RTS: APTK; MICEX: RU14APTK1007] announces the completion of acquisition of regional pharmacy chain Pharmacom in the city of Omsk.

The deal was signed on February 15, 2006. Acquisition of Pharmacom added to Pharmacy Chain 36.6 13 pharmacies located in Omsk. Pharmacom is one of the largest pharmacy chains in the city. Average footprint of an acquired pharmacy is around to 74 square meters.

Operations will be managed from the Omsk office of 36.6, reporting directly to the Company’s “Western Siberia” (city of Novosibirsk) business unit.With acquisition of Pharmacom, 36.6 will manage 17 pharmacies located in Western Siberia.

Financial details of the acquisition are not disclosed.
